About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and friendly Dispensary Technician to join our Melbourne team. This is a brilliant opportunity to further develop and diversify your career in Pharmacy as you will be exposed to a variety of different aspects including Retail & Hospital.

This position is available on a permanent basis, 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. Although predominantly based at our Epworth Richmond site, travel to other sites will be required on a regular basis.

Reporting directly to the Technician Team Leader at Richmond, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Delivering the highest levels of hospital pharmacy service to client hospitals and their patients
• Dispensary duties and tasks to support the pharmacy teams
• Medication supply and logistics
• Assisting the pharmacy teams with any general pharmacy administration
• Inventory control and management

About You:

The person we are looking for will possess the following skills & credentials:

• Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum one year’s experience working in an Australian pharmacy as a dispensary technician
• Valid Driver's License and has access to own car/transport
• Proficiency using FRED and iPharmacy (preferable)
• Good working knowledge of the PBS
• Proven excellence in written & verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a passionate and motivated attitude
• Ability to problem solve independently and work autonomously
• The ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change in work requirements
