Located in Parkville (Australia) and part of the Quality Assurance Department, this role is a contract position, working full time for 12 months. Reporting to the Senior Associate, Quality Assurance, the QA Associate is responsible for the following tasks:

• Review batch manufacturing batch records and processes, environmental monitoring results, analytical test results to determine if product/material process and specifications have been met.
• Liasing with manufacturing departments to manage timely review and completion of batch records.
• Identifies and reports deviations from established standards in the manufacturing process.
• Performs visual inspections of intermediate and final products.
• Prepare summary protocols and draft batch release documentation
• Supports all batch release activities to enable timely, reliable supply of product.

To be successful in this role you will have good judgement and decision making skills and an understanding of industry GMP and regulatory requirements. Your clear communication and teamwork will be imperative and you will also have excellent attention to detail. You will have good time management skills and be flexible enough to manage changing priorties.

A tertiary qualification preferably in a Science related field is preferred with a minimum of two years experience in a regulated industry with a focus on QA and cGMP. You will also have had experience working within a Quality Management System or equivalent and good Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint skills.
