New owners of a well-established family practice, with over 30 years of service in Terrigal, and a solid patient base. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN).  Due to upcoming retirement, we are looking for RNs who want flexibility, a warm and flexible working environment, and also a healthy and sustainable work-life balance. Ultimately, a part time role is ideal, with working hours within the Monday through Saturday timeframe.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Full AHPRA Registration as a registered nurse.
  • Current first aid and CPR certificate
  • Immunization status
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Medical indemnity

Expectations and Requirements

  • Triage and ability to respond to medical emergencies
  • Spirometry
  • ECG
  • Screening Audiometry
  • Serialization
  • Wound care
  • Liaising with doctors
  • Immunization
  • Cold Chain Management
  • Recalling patients for preventative health and health monitoring activities
  • Conducting health assessments and care plans in a general practice setting
  • Assisting with minor procedures
  • Stock control and ordering
  • Any other duties expected from an RN in a general practice setting.
  • Knowledge of infection control and cold chain management in a general practice setting
  • Experience with the medical software program Best Practice
  • Experience with Medicare claiming
