New owners of a well-established family practice, with over 30 years of service in Terrigal, and a solid patient base. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN). Due to upcoming retirement, we are looking for RNs who want flexibility, a warm and flexible working environment, and also a healthy and sustainable work-life balance. Ultimately, a part time role is ideal, with working hours within the Monday through Saturday timeframe.
Essential Selection Criteria
- Full AHPRA Registration as a registered nurse.
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Immunization status
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Medical indemnity
Expectations and Requirements
- Triage and ability to respond to medical emergencies
- Spirometry
- ECG
- Screening Audiometry
- Serialization
- Wound care
- Liaising with doctors
- Immunization
- Cold Chain Management
- Recalling patients for preventative health and health monitoring activities
- Conducting health assessments and care plans in a general practice setting
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Stock control and ordering
- Any other duties expected from an RN in a general practice setting.
- Knowledge of infection control and cold chain management in a general practice setting
- Experience with the medical software program Best Practice
- Experience with Medicare claiming
