About our Practice

Our motivated and growing team at Croydon Orthodontics are looking to add an Orthodontic Oral Health therapist/ Dental Hygienist to our team. 

If you have a great attitude, are enthusiastic and are passionate about orthodontics- then we want YOU!! Remuneration will be based on experience. Experience in an orthodontic practice is a bonus, but not essential. 

You should be well presented, professional, with a warm, mature personality and strong written and verbal skills. 

We value continued education; our team attend multiple lectures and conferences throughout the year to keep up to date with the latest practices. Our practice is a Platinum Invisalign provider.

Key Duties:

• Efficient delivery of high quality treatment
• Great attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with orthodontists and the ability to work autonomously in a proactive nature
• The knowledge and ability to perform a complete range of orthodontic procedures including (but not limited to) assisting the orthodontist with bonding/banding procedures, debanding, Invisalign procedures and Suresmile technology
• Orthodontic record taking- including clinical photography, impressions and intra oral scanning
• Patient education and oral hygiene instruction
• Involvement in the development of internal protocol

Skills and experience:

• Orthodontic experience is a bonus
• High social IQ
• A great attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• An excellence in communication with both patients and your team members
• An interest in the application of emerging technologies in orthodontics
• An interest in learning new skills and techniques
• Strong initiative, ability to multi task and an excellent work ethic
• An understanding on infection control procedures
• Salary is negotiable and will be based on experience within the industry
• Certain days are negotiable
• Current registration with AHPRA
