Our premium role at the moment is the opening of an absolutely beautiful new retirement village! With a true vision of creating an environment where residents are the absolute centre of everything, our client is totally passionate about investing in staff who also hold the same values and can implement this philosophy within the village.
Located in central Auckland, this retirement village provides independent living in 27 luxury apartments and 68 premium rest home, dementia and hospital-level care rooms.
Providing service that is second to none, this is somewhere we would all love to spend our retirement years! It’s got everything we would want- Excellent standards of care to match their beautiful interior, on site café/restaurant, high tech systems / reporting, high energy personnel.
This amazing new village is almost at completion, and ready to start recruiting….
We are looking for an exceptional Clinical Lead to work closely with the General Manager to prepare the site for opening and then oversee the clinical governance.
You will:
- Be a highly experienced Clinical Lead who has had some experience working in New Zealand's health care sector
- Focus on residents/patients experiencing nothing less than excellence in service delivery
- Promote individual choice & participation in resident care and daily activities
- Drive clinical excellence, building a team of resident-focused staff
- Oversee the set-up of documentation ready for opening audit
- Be responsible for ongoing clinical governance
- Provide support and mentoring to the clinical team
- Be a change champion, fostering an environment of teamwork & genuine customer care
You must:
- Be absolutely passionate about customer service
- Hold NZ Nursing Registration & current APC
- Have senior experience as a Clinical Nurse Leader
- LOVE technology, people management, quality and systems development
- Be InterRai competent & have some previous experience in New Zealand's healthcare system.
- This is a non- hierarchical complex, where everyone pitches in to help, no matter what their title.
- Reporting is not ‘old-school’ but definitely state of the art; high tech, high touch
- Attitudes are not old and fusty, but embracing change, technology, flexibility & teamwork
