THE OPPORTUNITY
MSD has an opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join our Oncology team on a 12 month max term contract to engage with Scientific Leaders and Key Decision Makers across VIC, WA and TAS.
This position will see you;
- Provide field-based medical support for MSD's Oncology product/s and disease state within your specific portfolio
- Become an expert in the disease state, therapy area and healthcare needs for your territory
- Provide medical and strategic support to internal stakeholders, including developing medical-marketing initiatives, training on our products and supporting the sales team
- Support MSD's strategic and scientific objectives by implementing the medical affairs strategy
- Represent Medical Affairs team at medical events and participate in Scientific Advisory board meetings and Expert Input forums
ABOUT YOU
To be successful as MSL / Senior MSL you will:
- Hold a PHD in life sciences or a Bachelor of Pharmacy combined with experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Have 2 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of the therapeutic area highly regarded
- Have a proven track record of building customer relationships, with a strong focus on effectively utilising your technical expertise to meet customer expectations.
- Have the flexibility to travel interstate to visit your customer base and attend conferences as required, this position will see you spend approximately 70% of your time in the field.
- Hold the ability to present scientific and technical information with confidence, in manner that engenders trust and credibility
