About Us:
Slade is an innovative and diverse provider of both pharmacy and compounding services. For over 50 years it has been providing specialised pharmacy services which include the preparation of sterile compounded preparations for use by patients in hospitals.
Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. At Slade Health, we produce aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products such as chemotherapy drugs, total parental nutrition and analgesics.
About the role:
We are currently recruiting for two full-time Production Technicians to work at our Mount Kuring-Gai site. Operational hours are between 6am and 10pm Monday to Friday and the successful candidates will be placed onto a shift between these hours. You will be provided with extensive training and on a daily basis will be responsible for:
- Picking raw materials
- Decontamination of materials
- Printing labels and batch documents
- Compounding/mixing product in the cleanroom
- Checking, packing and labelling final product
- Ensuring completion of documentation
What we are looking for:
This role would suit someone who has:
- A passion to provide the best standard of products to patients
- Is always willing to give it their best
- Willing to help at all times and be enthusiastic
- The ability to work well within a team environment and follow direct instructions
Desirable experience:
- Experience in a compounding role, or
- Experience working within a cleanroom environment, or
- Experience in the field of pharmacy, or
- Recently graduated with a Science degree and has a keen interest to work in a cleanroom environment
You must also present with:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Meticulous record keeping skills
- Proactive and enthusiastic working style
- Strong communication skills
- Morning/afternoon shift availability
- The ability to work within a cleanroom environment
Candidates will also be required to undertake and pass pre-employment medical which includes a supervised drug test
