Due to the ongoing expansion of the NDIS across Melbourne in 2018, there is an increasing demand for Support Workers. HCA has a number of people living with a disability who cannot wait to meet you!


The Role:

Deliver personalised core support services to people living with a disability in our community. 

Make a difference to the lives of others by:

• Providing personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming, medication assistance)
• Undertaking light domestic duties (e.g. mopping, vacuuming, food preparation); and
• Facilitating community access

This role would be best suited to those with a genuine desire to promote choice and independence of people with a disability.


What You MUST Have:

• 6+ months of paid work experience as a Support Worker
• Certificate III (or higher) in Home and Community, Individualised Support, or Disability
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Valid Victorian Working With Children Check
• Valid Victorian Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check and DWES (Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme) Check
