ABOUT THE ROLE
An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned sales individual to join the organisations highly successful sales team. The position will be based in North Sydney or close by with primary responsibility of looking after the North NSW region stretching from Sydney towards Newcastle. Working closely with OMF surgeons, Periodontists and implant specialists, you will help to expand their referral network utilizing the growing GP market. The role is highly technical, with consultative support in surgery and intensive implant training at every level within the dental sector. The area is a market stronghold for the company and is commercially critical, the role will involve a significant amount of continued account management with Key Clients, nurturing these individuals to drive increased revenue as well as identifying new business opportunities. within this exciting sector
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for generating market share and market share growth for innovative products in designated territory to targeted Dentists.
- Representatives will make selling presentations by direct, personal sales calls and meetings with Dentists, other hospital personnel and a push through the major wholesalers.
- Required to follow all established Territory Sales Policies, and timely completion of maintenance of Outlook calendar weekly, quarterly business plans and monthly expense reports.
- Must utilise resources, and create positive/professional impression.
- Attend selected national and regional Dental and medical device trade shows and any Regional or National Sales Meetings, as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- 2+ years experience Dental/Medical Devices products coupled with dental nursing experience ideal but not essential.
- Proven self-starter and team player willing to learn travel and work with long distance direct supervision.
- Proven sales/persuasion skills.
- Effective communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Account management experience.
