Mental Health Nurses required to support the provision of therapeutic and clinical interventions in IHMS – Villawood.
The organisation:
International Health and Medical Services (IHMS) provides healthcare for people currently in immigration detention throughout Australia. Our operations and healthcare services provided are in line with the Australian healthcare and RACGP standards for health services in Australian detention centres.
The role:
IHMS is currently seeking qualified and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to assist us in our clinic located in Villawood.
You shall be responsible for providing high level mental support to our client and supporting primary health care staff to provide mental health services. You will be providing mental healthcare services to the standards set out by IHMS policies and procedures and initial emergency response where required.
The ideal candidate:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Mental Health Nurse
- Advanced clinical assessment and crisis management skills
- Current First Aid and/or CPR certificate
