Clinical Dietitian Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 31st December 2018) Position Classification: Dietitian Level 1 and Level 2 Remuneration: $61,173 - $88,627 Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: REQ52622 Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing Provision of high quality Nutrition and Dietetic services to patients within the Western Sydney Local Health District. This includes the provision of nutritional assessment, nutrition support, nutrition education and dietetic counselling to inpatients and outpatients either individually or as a group. Essential Criteria: Vaccination Category: A Checks: National Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics, acceptable to the membership of the Dietitians' Association of Australia (DAA). Selection Criteria: Up-to-date knowledge and skills in dietetic practice. Well-developed written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, effective time management and ability to prioritise workload. Able to work as an effective team member as well as work independently, including flexibility and adaptability to work across facility sites to meet service needs. Good computer skills, including experience using CBORD Diet Office System and Cerner eMR or equivalent. Previous experience as a clinical Dietitian. Demonstrated understanding and application of quality improvement principles. Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and on call, if required. Need more information?
