We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy and specialist services. We offer a range of therapeutic interventions and systemic interventions for both the client, family and service system.
About the Team
Paediatric Consultation Liaison (Paediatric CL) psychiatry is a team which provides specialist mental health assessments for infants, children and adolescents aged 0 to 18 years old, who are admitted as medical inpatients and needing mental health support and intervention. Paediatric CL provides both consultation and liaison services to a range of medical and surgical teams and a variety of paediatric wards across three main hospital sites, including the new Monash Children's Hospital at Clayton, Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital.
