We are currently seeking Psychiatry Specialist for one of our Clients - a service comprised of the twin areas, positioned north of Sydney, which are collectively expected to grow from the current approximate 300,000 to 450,000 population before 2030. The Local Health District has strong connections with both Royal North Shore Hospital and the University of Newcastle.

In this role you will provide clinical management to patients, initiate and participate in clinical teaching, research and quality activities, including interest in ECT and its administration. Responsibilities will include liaison to Emergency Departments, Inpatient Units and Community Teams and the provision of clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team. Participation in the Psychiatrist On-Call roster after hours is expected.

Requirements:

• Current Specialist registration with AHPRA
• FRANZCP
