About the Role
We are currently looking for an Area Manager for our Queensland clinics. This role will primarily guide and support our Practice Managers (PMs) and clinic teams.
This is a critical role that will be immersed in people management, acting as a subject matter expert while building and enhancing doctor relationships.
The role will require travel across the QLD network and potentially into the head office in NSW. Supported by the Head of Operations, this is a newly-scoped role that offers an excellent opportunity for growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, support and guidance to the QLD practice managers on people management, clinic operations, patient services and stakeholder management
- Maintain and enhance doctor relationships in the region
- Ensure that clinics in QLD achieve KPIs and targets
- Partner with support services - Finance, HR, etc. - to ensure smooth operations of the clinics and that the PMs are well supported
- Problem solve escalated issues
- Implement network-wide initiatives for the QLD region, with the support of Operations management
About You
Ideally, you will have:
- previous experience as an Area Manager in the medical or healthcare industry is preferred but not essential,
- 3+ years experience as a medical Practice Manager and team leader,
- sound commercial acumen,
- an excellent ability to work independently coupled with great organisational skills,
- ability travel on a regular basis
- a current driver's licence and a clean driving record.
