Where you'll be working
Variety Club Ward - Infectious Inpatient Care is a 17 bed acute Oncology/Isolation Ward that cares for a mixture of patients including a variety of specialities for patients requiring isolation.
We are currently seeking applications from Registered Nurses for both Permanent Full Time and Permanent Part Time positions.

What you'll be doing
Variety Ward cares for patients admitted for:
- Infectious oncology and BMT patients (although also non-infectious)
- The diagnosis and treatment of childhood cancers
- Administration of complex chemotherapy regimens, or combinations of chemotherapy and radiotherapy;
- Antimicrobial and other supportive therapy for children who are immunosuppressed;
- Stem cell transplantation
- Pain and palliative care
- General medical and subspecialty patients requiring isolation
You will have
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Recent clinical experience as a registered nurse in a hospital setting.
- Effective time management skills
- Computer literacy.
- Capacity to work a seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays and reasonable overtime
