- This Business Development Manager position is responsible for visiting GP clinics, practices, medical centres and the like, to discuss the potential possibility of converting their current in-clinic pathology provider over to this organisation, so it's a long sales cycle depending on when the current lease is up for the current provider.
- This is a role for a GP rep that is a commercially astute person with a good business mind that can recognise opportunities and liaise with GP's, business owners and property managers to convince them to move from their current pathology provider to them.
- You will be out in the field, with a designated territory to look after, in metro Melbourne (half VIC), no regional/country trips, at this stage, building relationships with doctors/business professionals to win over competitor accounts.
- Ideally you will have a pathology background with at least 2 years’ experience as a GP sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Or you may be in healthcare sales in other areas, like pathology ideally or pharmacy or related areas.
- Or are you working in a lab right now and studying business or similar looking for an opportunity to use your commercial acumen and move your career to the next step.
- A science, business or related qualification is necessary.
