South Pacific Private currently has a vacancy for a part time Day Program Therapist
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Facilitation of day programs
- Working within the framework of the South Pacific Private Model of Treatment
- Delivery of psycho-education
- Engagement with the continuing care planning of the group
Applicant requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Graduate Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy
- Certification and/or experience working in a group therapy environment and with a thorough understanding and/or experience with the 12 Step Programs
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
- Experience working with PTSD/ Addictions/ Mood Disorders
Training will be provided for the suitable applicant.
