The Position
Would you like to join a passionate team of dedicated health professionals? We are seeking a motivated and experienced critical care Registered Nurse to join our team or for a team member looking for an opportunity to advance your career within the Critical Care area.
Our 9 bed CCU/ICU provides a high level of care for acutely ill patients. As part of the CCU/ICU team you will work closely with the CIU team (Cardiac Investigation Unit) and Unit 2 (23 bed Cardiac Step Down Unit) and will have the option to cross train in other areas.
The Person
Key Selection Criteria for this position includes:
- Previous nursing experience (minimum 2 years) in an acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience working in a critical care environment is preferred
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close team environment
- Exceptional time management skills
- Dedication to delivering high standards of care

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements
It is a mandatory condition of employment for this role for you are vaccinated, and remain during your employment, against the following vaccine preventable diseases:

- Varicella (Chicken Pox)
- Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
- Hepatitis B
Existing staff that were employed prior to 1 July 2017 are not subject to this condition of employment unless they apply for a role with VPD requirements.
