Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation, an Aboriginal Medical Service located in the Campbelltown area, is currently seeking a Dentist to join our friendly team in providing a quality health service for the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
Purpose of position:
Deliver clinical services to the eligible population by performing the full range of professional dental tasks applicable to general dentistry while regularly encountering, diagnosing, and treating dental disease and oral health problems of greater than usual difficulty. This is a clinical position requiring a full clinical load.
About the role:
- This role is permanent full-time (week days only) with a 3 month probation period
- This position is salary based, with salary packaging options
- Immediate start required
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated appropriate levels of knowledge across all areas of general dentistry whilst having the ability or potential to carry out a broad range of general dental procedures.
- Diagnosing and treats diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, periodontium and related oral structures.
- Examining patients to determine the nature of their dental condition, coordinating radiography and other diagnostic procedures.
- Providing appropriate advice and alternate treatment programs to patients and their guardians.
- Work in an ethical and professional manner.
- Maintain a high standard of infection control

Required qualifications:
- Appropriate qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia

- 1+ years’ experience preferred, but not essential. New graduates welcome to apply.
