The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, the Service Delivery Manager - RAC will act as a key liaison between the clinical services of the business and healthcare service recipients. This includes managing clinical quality and safety of all services delivered into aged care through effective leadership of clinical managers, team leaders,and practitioners. You are accountable for managing day-to-day operations of Residential Aged Care Services and overseeing effective service delivery in line with the highest industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional inspirational leadership with a focus on employee engagement, retention, and developing a high-performance team culture aligned to Medibank’s values
- Attracting and retaining talent into the practitioner cohort, succession planning, service delivery improvement and developing strong customer relationships
- Providing strategic direction to Clinical Leads and Team Leaders to ensure outcomes are met
- Developing and implementing operational plans and leading ad-hoc projects and initiatives
- Providing reports and engaging with customers on a quarterly basis through to state level management
- Weekly reporting for workforce planning ensuring KPI’s and key outcomes are achieved
- Driving and supporting a culture of continuous improvement ensuring best practice of all policies in line with legislation and guidelines.
About You
You have proven leadership experience in multi-disciplinary and geographically diverse teams. With deep commercial operational expertise in clinical or allied health services, you effectively assess and evaluate ongoing facility and operational needs and plan service delivery accordingly.
With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are a creative problem-solver and leverage your ability to manage competing priorities. Strong analytical skills and an ability to use data to predict and act on factors contributing to performance, program outcomes, and business strategies will set you up for success in this role.
A Degree in Health or related qualifications (Registered Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, or similar Allied Health qualifications) and a current practising registration with AHPRA or equivalent is essential.
Formal qualification in management, experience in aged care facilities, or a knowledge of health behaviour change programs and care coordination will be highly desirable.
Please note we are flexible on the location for the role, however, regular travel will be a requirement of the role.
