Are you looking to feel guided and supported in your clinical managerial role, as you lead a high performing team to deliver person centred care to residents?
We are currently seeking a passionate Clinical Manager to join the team at Carrington’s Paling Court facility. Paling Court is a 130 bed facility set on beautiful grounds in Grasmere with state of the art accommodation.
As the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Full clinical oversight of the facility, including clinical reporting and documentation
- Assist the Learning & Development department with Staff training, provision of ongoing management and support to all care staff, under the guidance of the Care Services Manager
- Oversight of all specialised nursing
- Working closely with the Care Services Manager and leadership team to ensure consistent compliance with all Aged Care standards and Carrington policies and procedures
As a senior clinician, you will:
- Have a Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
- Be an experienced manager or leader of a team (12 months minimum preferred)
- Have a hands on approach and be willing to get out on the floor and build relationships with our residents and their families
- Have a strong focus on customer service and leadership
- Be proactive and energetic in managing your time effectively and a working in a fast paced environment
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Have sound computer skills and IT knowledge
It would be desirable if you have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Proven experience with Aged Care funding streams, including ACFI and associated documentation
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the aged care sector
