Position Summary
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Administration Assistant with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Our progressive and innovative team offers development opportunities for our staff and a caring environment for the delivery of high quality patient centred care. The successful applicant will be expected to be a well organised, professional and experienced medical administrator with an aptitude for prioritising and multitasking in a busy role administrative role.

Selection Criteria
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
- Relevant qualifications in Administration and at least two years’ experience in a similar role
- Office management and reception experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to carry out a variety of functions which may be complex in nature and require judgment in selecting and applying established principles, techniques and methods
- Computer literacy, including high speed typing ability, sound knowledge of MS Office with email and electronic clinical information systems/databases
- Ability to work well within a team and autonomously with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish, maintain and conclude effective interpersonal communication
