- Pharmacy Technician Grade 1-2 (Full Time Ongoing, 80 hours per fortnight including ADO)
- Melbourne Health – Royal Melbourne Hospital City Campus
About the Role:
Enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technicians are desired to work closely with a team of highly specialised pharmacists and technicians to deliver person focused services to RMH patients. Your passion to provide quality services, commitment to team work, flexibility and advanced organisational skills will enable you to operate across the various technical roles at RMH. Melbourne Health is committed to providing positive employment opportunities and supports further education and professional development. This position requires occasional weekend and public holiday availability.
Duties:
- Deliver high quality patient focused pharmaceutical care
- Dispensing medicines
- Manage the supply of medicines throughout the hospital
- Participate in education and research
- Contribute to stock control and claiming for medicines
- Contribute to weekday after hours and weekend services
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants must be enrolled or have completed the Certificate III in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage
- Ability to prioritise work demands
- Sound communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated general clerical skills
- A positive team attitude
