LOCATION
Centrally based within 20 minutes of Melbourne's CBD, this Hospital has a new Radiology Department that is equipped with modern ultrasound machines and PACS and RIS systems.
THE ROLE
This hospital offers MSK and Vascular, lots of Oncology and General scans there is no Obstetric and Gynae unless there is an ED patient. The imaging team is looking for an experienced Sonographer to join their team of 7 other Sonographers on a full-time basis on a contract basis for 6-12 months.
The imaging department is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm and no Saturday or on-call requirements.

- Workload consisting of a mixed caseload of scans.
- Equipment used is Logic E9, Philips IU22's and 1 Philips Epic 7 shared with ICU used for mobiles.

- Time each fortnight to either supervise a student or work a 9 day fortnight

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for the position you must be able to demonstrate:
- ASAR registration.
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a General Accredited Sonographer.
- Broad experience across General Sonographer scans, including basic Vascular, Obs & Gynae and MSK.
