Kids OT has been a leading Private Paediatric OT Practice in Sydney's Northern Beaches since 2003, part of its great success is servicing the needs of young people and their families with innovative programs which address and meet their needs.

 

WHAT IS ECIP (Early Childhood Intensive Program)

We understand the value of Early Intervention and development in the early years and as such we have created a unique and very popular program which provides a Multi-Disciplinary approach to the development of preschooler’s aged 3.5 years – 6 years, in setting them up for success in life. Small groups of up to 10 children are supported each week in an intensive half day or day program (9am - 12:30pm or 9am to 3pm) by a team of Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Pathologists, and Early Childhood Educators working together with the children. The program focuses to develop children’s skills, capacity, confidence and competence across a range of neurological & physical domains in a day-long intervention environment.

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to further enrich our ECIP program.

Requirements:

  • Passionate Psychologist holding a Bachelor or Master Degree in their field with AHPRA Registration
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Paediatrics and have experience in working with children with ASD, Sensory Processing difficulties, Attention difficulties and Developmental Delays; and have worked with children who require support in developing functional performance or behavioural support/management.
  • Demonstrated ability to use strategies that help strengthen parent's capacity to meet the learning needs of their child
  • Excellent communication and time management skills 
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current NSW WWCC
  • Commitment to clients and client outcomes
  • Effective and efficient communicator and excellent time management skills
  • Positive, professional and friendly manner
  • Full drivers licence
