Australian Clinical is an innovative pathology company seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced Collection Area Coordinators in joining our collection team for the new Northern Beaches Hospital and surrounding collection centres.
Recruitment to this position will commence following the completion of the process to allow current eligible Manly and Mona Vale Hospital staff, and those providing services to these hospitals, opportunity to indicate their interest in positions at the Northern Beaches Hospital.
You will be responsible for:
- Recruitment and rostering of staff
- Ensuring our staff and practices adhere to company policies
- Statistical reporting
- Coaching, advice and support for staff on all collections issues.
- Ensuring that high quality benchmarks are maintained.
- Ensuring our collection locations are immaculately presented, our staff are customer focused and the collection team provides exceptional service.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Sound experience working in Pathology Specimen Collections or be an experienced Registered Nurse with pathology exposure.
- Experience in staff management and supervision
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Strong administrative, computer and organisational skills
- Previous experience with rostering staff would be preferable.
- The ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude that will rub off on your staff.
This role will be challenging and will help you to grow your organisational and supervisory skills. Whilst the role requires you to work autonomously, you have the constant support and advice of the Area Supervisors network, and the Collection Services Manager.
