The Position
St John of God Murdoch Hospital is currently seeking applications from prospective Registered Midwives to participate in our 2018 Graduate Midwifery Program, commencing in February 2019.
The program boasts excellent supervision and support throughout its 12 month duration, allowing you to nurture and develop the clinical skills that you have gained throughout your studies.
Should you be successful, you will be contracted to 70 hours per fortnight (0.92FTE) for the duration of the program. You will be expected to work across all shifts on a rotating roster, including on call shifts.
If you have completed, or are due to complete tertiary studies in Midwifery in 2018, and are passionate about providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you!

The requirements:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Midwife with AHPRA by 4th February 2019.
- Less than 12 months post graduate Midwifery experience.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
