Very exciting opportunity for a DENTIST to join our expanding team of 6 clinicians. Due to clinic expansion and dentists going maternity leave.

Position is open to Part-time 2-3 days per week, to Full-time 4-5 days per week. Candidates who are able to do work on Saturdays (8-12pm) will be given preference; rotational Saturdays may be considered. Days are can be negotiated, but we shall have preference for someone who would eventually like to join us Full Time.

Remuneration negotiated on experience and performance. Starting from 37%

Excellent communication skills are essential with a commitment to providing a high level of dentistry at all times.

We have 2 practices: trendy Yarraville and beachside Williamstown. We practice all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. We take pride in our bright and modern facilities, new equipment, paperless records D4W, digital x-rays, OPG, lat ceph, rotary endodontics, CBCT, intraoral cameras, laser,  and CEREC, the Wand (needless anaesthetic). There are tv’s in all rooms for patient entertainment. You will be supported by Dental Assistants geared towards helping you, (none of that eyeroll that says “ You really want me to set that up now?,” genuinely helpful Reception Team who will want you to reach your financial goals, and fair supportive management who would love to hear your clinical and business goals, and motivate you to reach them!

You will join a team of 6 dentists and Oral Health Therapist. Minimum 2 years experience working in private practice is essential, but if you think you have the equivalent, then show us what you are made of! After years of gaining clinical dental experience, we hope you can see this as an opportunity for a rewarding and enjoyable part of your career. We love to learn and are constantly improving. Collectively our dental team are able to perform a wide range of dentistry including Invisalign, Orthodontic Braces, Cosmetic Dentistry, Botox, simple implant cases, surgical extractions, all aspects of cosmetic dentistry including bonded veneers, porcelain veneers, whitening, mouth rehabilitation, Botox. It is a good opportunity for you to learn grow in these areas if you desire,(hopefully you do). Even so, if our fellow clinicians are unable to complete a case, we still enjoy the freedom of being able to refer to specialists. A willingness to quickly adapt to our dental philosophy is essential: providing good quality dentistry that you would want for yourself or your family. We take the time to explain to all our patients the procedure and provide them with all the information they need prior to the treatment to ensure they have an enjoyable and comfortable experience with the best possible results.

Proficiency in all areas of general dentistry is ideal, including fillings, crown and bridge. Having the ability to be empathetic, good communications skills to confidently discuss treatment plans and options with patients is necessary, with a strong ability to engage. The ideal candidate should must be able to work in a team. Treatment planning skills is essential, and we will help guide you through this as necessary. The successful candidate should possess the above, but we will provide training to reach your highest potential. Our clinic is not Prime or Momentum based, but we have enjoyed the training and philosophies. Please mention if you have had this training or similar.

Weekly Dentist meetings will help with case diagnosis, treatment planning, and general tips, and give you a chance to self-reflect to succeed with your upcoming cases.

Our clinicians like to practice to their highest potential, but there is always a respect for humble modesty, as we have all learnt over the years that there is always room for improvement. We may sound like dental geeks, but we definitely have a laugh and enjoy a good sense of humour.
