Your opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Dental Nurse to work alongside the Clinic Manager to provide a high quality differentiated patient experience, through the delivery of professional, knowledgeable and efficient clinical services. This role would suit a nurse who is looking to further develop their skill set.
You will be responsible for following conventional dental nursing procedures, providing proficient chair-side assistance to dentists across a range of procedures including but not limited to preventative, cosmetic, orthodontics, endodontics and implant surgery.
In addition to nursing duties, you will also have the opportunity to utilise your skill set in team building and upskilling staff, stock management and interactions with our procurement system. As well as coordinating repairs and maintenance you will also assist where relevant in ensuring compliancy in infection control and safety.
All about you
Having come from a similar role within the dental industry, you will demonstrate the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Minimum of 4 years nursing experience
- Team leadership experience
- Strong people orientation with demonstrable abilities in customer service delivery
- High levels of self-motivation and ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High levels of computer literacy
