This well-known hospital is centrally located in Adelaide and is the only 24 hour ED operation hospital in central Adelaide. It’s one of South Australia’s largest providers of Ortho, Neuro, and Cardiac Services.

About the Facility
- 350 bed facility providing services across Ortho, Neuro, Cardiac, Spinal, Paediatric, Dental, Ophthalmology, Colorectal and Upper GI, as well as 24 hour ED services.
- A private not for profit hospital with significant provision of neurosurgical and spinal surgical services.
- This facility will be relocating to a brand-new premise in the next 12 months and increasing in size including a more comprehensive Theatre, ICU, and ED.
- 8 Room Theatre - doubling in size in the next 12 months upon move to new location

About You
- Have 3+ years’ experience as Registered Nurse in a Theatre - with exposure to work across Neuro, Ortho & Cardiac
- RN used to work in a team environment and ability to be adaptive
- At ease taking over work performed by very experienced scrub-scout nurses
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable operating on a floor managed by a Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Educator
Even Better if you
- Have Recovery and Anaesthetics experience
- Have ever worked as a clinical preceptor or in a teaching capacity
- Experience as a nurse in charge of the floor
- Have long term interests in a more senior role within the Theatre setting - opportunities expected to become available upon arrival to the new premise
