Chemist Outlet is a market leader in Discount Pharmacy.
We are currently seeking an experienced pharmacy Retail Manager to join the St Marys team and work full time 38 hours per week. Come and join an energetic and driven team, where we value personal and career development and invest heavily in your growth!!
As a Retail Manager with Chemist Outlet you will be responsible for all front of shop retail operations including POS (point of sale), ticketing, pricing, promotions, merchandising, invoicing, managing stock flows and supervising a small team of pharmacy professionals. The Retail Manager will also be responsible for store administration including coordination of employment contracts and staff training.
To be considered for this role applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years Pharmacy Retail Management experience preferably gained in a high volume retail chemist
- Well developed people management skills including ability to: conduct new employee inductions and training, staff performance management, conducting monthly appraisals and providing performance feedback
- Experience developing staff rosters
- Budgeting and wage control
- Intermediate to strong PC skills
- Ability to coach and mentor staff members inline with Chemist Outlet policy and procedure
- Knowledge and experience with QCPP compliance and accreditation
- First aid certificate and cert II or III in Community Pharmacy highly desirable
- Up to date S2/S3 training also highly desirable
