About the Program
- The program commences Monday 3rd September 2018
- Permanent contract on our Nurse Pool, working 4 days per week
- Extensive orientation to the health service and clinical areas
- 2 weeks supernumery clinical shifts with buddy nurses
- Clinical competency learning and assessment program
- 3 months clinical support and supervision from the Nursing Education Centre
Selection Criteria
- Applicants must hold current registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse without conditions.
- All applicants must have minimum 2 years nursing experience post registration
- Any applicants that have completed an IRON program must have done so within the past 12 months
- Applicants returning to Nursing must have not been out of the workforce for more than 3 years
- Applicants transitioning from Sub acute/Residential Aged Care or General Practice must have 2 years minimum experience in their current position
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency
- Applicants must be able to commit to working 0.8 EFT
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and night duty
- Must be able to start Monday 3rd September 2018
- Work across all campuses, Fitzroy, St Georges Kew Campus, Caritas Christi Hospice Kew, Residential Aged Care (Richmond, Collingwood and Hawthorn)
