Nexus Primary Health supports people to fully participate within their community through the provision of appropriate wide-ranging support services throughout their life span. With a 40 year history, we are the "go to" organisation for primary health information and person-centred services in the outer and rural north of Melbourne.
We are currently recruiting for a Therapeutic Integration Coordinator to join our Family Violence Team.
Let's talk about the role
The Therapeutice Integration Coordinator works closely with clients, their families and clinicians to help develop service plans, comprising short term counselling to longer term intensive therapeutic services, aimed to address significant trauma.
You will also be project managing the development of new therapy services, working collaboratively with an integrated multi-disciplinary team, using a strengths based client centred approach.
No two days will be the same.
Each day you spend with us will demonstrate your commitment to supporting clients who require extra levels of support to manage and address complex issues.
And best of all, you'll be making a difference, every single day, to members of the community going through some challenging times.
Let's talk about you
You have extensive knowledge and experience with clients who have experienced trauma. You have project management expertise and an understanding of the forms of therapy available.
This is a reasonably autonomous role so you are able to self-manage a complex workload. You'll draw upon your tertiary qualifications, with a minimum Diploma qualification to give our clients the high quality of care they deserve.
A Bachelor of Social Work or Psychology or Children's Counselling/Mental Health Occupational Therapist would be desirable.
