This is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain the compliance framework for a major diagnostic company that has operations both here in Australia and the USA. Reporting through to the VP, Legal and Compliance the key responsibilities will be managing the execution of all Healthcare Compliance Monitoring (HCC), and associated programs and budgets, as well as training and education, auditing, OHS and data integrity. You will be responsible for managing all the risk analysis for ANZ, and adapting those frameworks to the US business as well, and a working knowledge of FDA would be highly regarded. You will have extensive report writing skills and the ability to participate in internal audits, understanding regulatory and compliance guidelines for laboratory and manufacturing operations, as well as applicable HCC laws and guidance for commercial agreements and commercial teams, including global anti-bribery/anti-corruption laws.
To be successful in this role, you will need extensive experience in healthcare compliance, with a Bachelor in a scientific field. Ideally, you will have at least 7 years in a similar role where you worked closely with the executive team to guide them as the technical compliance expert, and identify areas of risk and concern. You must be hands on so you can remediate any key risks to the business, and implement business critical SOP’s and training, and be capable of driving change and influence the business to the importance of healthcare compliance. Ideally, you will have auditing qualifications and advanced data analytical skills.
