St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne has extended its trusted, state of the art health care services to Melbourne’s west, and our Werribee facility has been open since January 2018.

The Services available in our Werribee private hospital include obstetrics, orthopaedics, cardiology, ear nose and throat, plastic and reconstructive surgery, urology, gynaecology, general surgery, vascular, rehabilitation and oncology/infusions. Facilities include operating theatres, a day procedure unit, a cardiac catheter laboratory, oncology/infusion unit, 2 wards, delivery suites and a level 1 special care nursery and newly opened rehabilitation gymnasium.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurses for our Day Oncology Unit based at our Werribee campus. We have casual positions available. Reporting to the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, the role will contribute towards the day to day operations that promotes the advancement of clinical practice in the Day Oncology Unit.
The individual must demonstrate an ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, display excellent communication skills and be competent and capable in managing acute situations in a rapidly changing clinical environment.
The successful candidate will have;
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in medical oncology
- A sound clinical background.
- Commitment to patient-focused care and teamwork.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and effective problem solving skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment.
- Concise written and verbal communication skills.
