If you’re keen to improve the health and capacity of injured patients within the workers compensation, CTP and life insurance sectors, then read on, my friend! In this role you’ll be joining a growing Sydney-based rehab business. You’ll enjoy workplace flexibility including the opportunity to be based from home, with travel locally to service clients within Sydney’s Western suburbs (you’ll be provided with a nice company car, phone and iPad). So what will your work days actually involve?
Some stuff you’ll do:
- Gym and home based exercise programs
- Hydrotherapy programs
- Evidence based and functional exercise prescription
- Medical Case Conferencing
- Stakeholder liaison through the rehab process
- Report writing and submission of Allied Health Recovery Requests
Am I the right person for this job? You’re an enthusiastic, ESSA accredited Exercise Physiologist with a SIRA NSW provider number and superpowers. Superpowers are optional, but your AEP accreditation and SIRA provider number are essential. If you have previous experience working within Workcover or CTP rehabilitation this will be highly regarded, but it's not a pre-requisite, and new graduates are also encouraged to apply (with strong support and training available). This role will initially be 3-4 days per week on a permanent part time basis, with the opportunity to increase to full time hours in future.
