Mind & Seek is a focused child and adolescent private psychology practice in Melbourne’s inner north west of Melbourne. Mind & Seek is part of the Western Psychological Services network, which has been helping families in the North-Western parts of Melbourne for over 25 years.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our rapidly growing service as a part-time contractor. 

You will provide counselling, intervention and assessment services for children and adolescents who present with learning, developmental, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The contractor role offers:

• A diverse range of client presentations to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people aged 4 to 16 years and their families.

Essential Criteria

• Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.
• Capability to work independently in conducting assessments and counselling for children, adolescents and families.
• Skill and expertise in providing psychological interventions and therapy to children, adolescents and families.
• Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
• Medicare provider number eligibility.
• Must have own ABN and public liability/professional indemnity insurance.

Desirable

• Endorsement as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist highly regarded.
• Experience assessing and treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Experience working in a private practice.
