• Facilitate group work within the inpatient group therapy program, including psychoeducation and skills based interventions derived from a range of evidence-based therapies
• Provide psychological assessment and diagnosis
• Provide individual therapy to patients with a broad range of moderate to severe psychopathology
• Work collaboratively with admitting Psychiatrists, Allied Health Clinicians and Nursing staff to ensure appropriate care planning
• Facilitate and contribute to continued development of inpatient and outpatient services
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively
• Adhere to Healthscope and site policies and procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement through National Safety & Quality Healthcare Standards (NSQHS), Workplace Health and Safety and the achievement of hospital accreditation
  
  

• The successful candidate must have experience in providing individual therapy, facilitating psychoeducational groups for inpatients and day patients, and be expected to participate in group meetings and supervision/review sessions.

• You will be expected to work effectively within a diverse multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of innovative programs. Advanced qualifications and expertise in a range of evidence based therapies are essential. Experience in DBT, EMDR and Pain Management strongly desired. Membership to APS College of Clinical Psychologists strongly desired.
