The Position
St John of God Geelong Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team in providing a world class level of service to the patients we serve.
This position will be offered on a casual basis.
If you have previous experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy services in an acute hospital setting, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent from a WFOT approved university.
- Eligible for membership of AAOT.
- Significant clinical experience in a related environment.
- Experience with provision of an Occupational Therapy service to both sub-acute and acute clinical areas
- Ability to manage variable workloads and meet deadlines.
- Proven skills in conflict management and team work.
- Demonstrated ability to model and foster high standards of professional behaviour.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people in a variety of situations.
- Demonstrated capacity to multi-task and deal with competing demands.
