About the role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with efficient dispensing skills to be part of our highly skilled team.
Based at National Capital Private Hospital in Garran, this full time role will require you to work Monday to Friday inclusive. This position is available for immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense medications in line with legal and professional requirements, under the direction of a Pharmacist
- Maintain hospital ward imprest stock
- Assist the Pharmacist prepare medication lists to facilitate medication management
- Attend to customers and clients at the counter
- Delivery of medications to wards/hospitals etc
You must have
- A can-do attitude and team focus
- Proven pharmacy experience
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
- Attention to detail and precision in record keeping
- Demonstrated experience working in fast paced environment
- Hospital experience is highly desirable.
