About the Role:
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Nurse to join our Gold Coast team. This position's primary purpose is to provide high quality radiation oncology nursing care to patients. The Clinical Nurse will function in more complex clinical situations while providing support and direction to Registered Nurses. This role will report to the Site Manager and function at a part-time capacity working 68 hours per fortnight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge and skills relating to radiation oncology and general oncology.
- Work in accordance with ROC workflow management strategies to optimise quality and efficiency and productivity
- Exhibit effective communication to all staff, patients and their carers
- Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach
Qualifications (Mandatory)
- Registered Nurse or Midwife with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA
Qualifications (Desirable)
- 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse in an oncology setting
- Evidence of commitment to patient/customer service, clinical governance and quality improvement
- Have a good understanding of the service delivery model within the public/private healthcare sector
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Standards for Clinical Excellence and ACHS Standards
