About the role
Our dynamic Physiotherapy Department is seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated physiotherapist to complete our service delivery team.
The role of the Grade 1 physiotherapist is primarily one of clinical service provision of a comprehensive, client-focused nature to acute, aged and ambulatory care clients of Western District Health Service facilities.
The role includes rotations across:
- Inpatient (Medical, Surgical, Rehabilitation/GEM)
- Ambulatory Care (general outpatients, Falls and Balance Exercise Group, Cardiac Rehab, Hydrotherapy)
- Aged Care (Assessments, Care Planning and Chronic Pain Management Program)
- Regional Hospitals at Penshurst & Coleraine Health Care facilities
Grade 1 physiotherapists are supervised by a Grade 2 physiotherapist within their work area and will in turn have a variable degree of oversight for the allied health assistants and students, depending on their level of experience. All Physiotherapists have a duty to maintain appropriate, accurate and timely clinical, attendance and statistical records.
