The opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is now available for an energetic and professional Dental Assistant to join our team at Channel Dental Care. This position is a full-time opportunity working a 9 day fortnight and the potential for the hours to grow with the business. This role would be well suited to applicants with prior dental experience looking to further their skill set with a national brand.

The practice and location
At Channel Dental Care we understand that people come into the dental practice with many different expectations and goals. We work closely with our patients to achieve their goals for oral hygiene and develop treatment plans that will help maintain long lasting oral health for a lifetime. We have modern equipment along with highly trained and experienced dentists. Based in Kingston,  we are only a ten minute drive from Hobart city centre and offer free onsite parking.

Some of your tasks may include:
• Clinical Chairside Assisting
• Stock control
• General Dental Assisting Duties
• Patient care and management 
• Helping patients and discussing treatment plans 
• Instrument sterilising and processing
• Maintaining a safe, clean and healthy clinical environment
• Some front office duties when required

Working closely with our dental professionals you will be responsible for assisting our dentists and team in all areas within our dental practice.
 
To be successful in this role you will have the following attributes: 
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is essential  
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is preferred
• Desire to deliver exceptional service 
• Friendly and positive attitude 
• Hygiene awareness 
• Strong interpersonal skills
