Our Organisation:
International Health and Medical Services (IHMS) provides healthcare for people currently in immigration detention throughout Australia. Our operations and healthcare services provided are in line with the Australian healthcare and RACGP standards for health services in Australian detention centres.
Registered Nurse responsibilities:
Working as part of a centralised medical and nursing assistance team in head office, you will coordinate the acute and chronic healthcare needs of clients.
The medical and nursing assistance team delivers a Healthcare Management Program by providing clinical oversight, medical advice and case direction to effectively manage the complex healthcare needs of our clients.
Essential Skills & Qualification required for this role:
- Must hold current AHPRA Registration as Div. 1 RN
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in Australia in any of following areas:
- Emergency
- ICU/CCU
- Rural/Remote Nursing
- GP Clinics
- Telehealth
- Mental Health
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills essential
- Available to work on a 7 day rotating roster
