This role is leading a national project that is well established and continuing to grow and develop. You will be working in professional membership organisation that provides training programs to the metro, rural and remote health settings. This position is supported by one project staff member and shared administrators.
The ideal candidate will present with leadership capabilities and prior experience developing and delivering a project from end to end. You will have a good understanding of the Australasian health care system and the ability to assimilate information quickly. Key to your success in this role is your strong program coordination skills and ability to support and advise key stakeholders across the country. You will demonstrate strong understanding of project methodology and the ability to work through committees to report and achieve the contract requirements. The ideal candidate will come from a similar Project/ Program Management role and have prior experience reporting outcomes to Government and achieving project objectives and deadlines.
You will also demonstrate the following:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in health or project management qualifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to travel 6-8 times a year for work
• Prior staff leadership experience
• The ability to influence effectively and negotiate positive outcomes
• Strong customer service orientation
• An attention to detail.
