The core focus of this position is to provide leadership & direction to the peri operative service through an exciting period of change with skills that complement its strategic direction & operational processes.
 
Position Summary:
 
As the leader of the Perioperative team you will be instrumental in the further development of a culture committed to quality, safety and patient focused care, utilising best clinical practice through a period of growth.
 
Team Support
 
The position is supported by the following positions: CNM scrub scout, CNM Anaesthetic / PACU, Floor coordinator, procurement & quality manager & Clinical Nurse Educators.  
 
Essential Criteria

• Registered Nurse with current unconditional AHPRA Registration
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a hospital perioperative environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated high level of Perioperative clinical knowledge and skills
• Previous experience in a management or leadership role
• Full working rights in Australia
