We require an experienced optical dispenser to join our new practice on a full-time basis.

With knowledge of optical dispensing and retail a must, the applicant will have the patient's needs at the forefront of the optical experience.

The motivated applicant will join a small dedicated team as an optical dispenser to assist optometrists with dispensing and retail tasks. This is an ideal opportunity to use your customer service, retail sale and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to meet and exceed the patient's needs.  The applicant must be sales orientated, with good lens knowledge and be able to work full time. We are a small team, and to fit in you must be committed to excellence in customer care. 

The successful applicant will assist patients with frame selections, general administration and other receptionist tasks as required. Excellent communication skills, customer service and a team focus are imperative to the position.

To be successful in this role you will: 

• Have optical dispensing experience 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Commitment to excellence in patient care 

• Experience in dispensing and good knowledge of lens options 

• Excellent retail product knowledge 

• Honest, reliable, motivated and people friendly

• Be customer focussed
