Fixed Term Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight – Multiple positions available.
See below for position fixed term dates:
- 3rd September 2018 to 30th September 2018
- 1st October 2018 to 28th October 2018
- 5th November 2018 to 2nd December 2018
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a keen interest in Community Nursing to join the District Nursing team at MDHS. In a fixed term position, you will use your professional clinical skills to maintain a high standard of nursing care and service delivery to the clients of MDHS.

Essential
KSC1 - Demonstrated organisational skills, particularly with respect to time management.
KSC2 - Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
KSC3 - Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, family/carers and staff at all levels within the organisation.
KSC4 - Have well developed interpersonal skills.
KSC5 - Demonstrated written and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role.
KSC6 - Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
KSC7 - Demonstrated knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities.
KSC8 - Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
KSC9 - Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
Desirable
KSC10 - Recent clinical experience or sound understanding of community nursing practice.
KSC11 - Post registration qualification in relevant area of speciality or working towards same.
