Port Stephens Veterans & Citizens Aged Care Ltd (PSVCAC) is a not for profit organisation that has been providing care to the community of Port Stephens over the past 35 years. PSVCAC is a dynamic organisation specialising in aged, palliative and dementia care; and our team is wholly committed to making a positive impact in our residents and consumers lives by focusing on the needs and improving the quality of life of each individual.
Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part Time Personal Care Assistants (PCA). This role will be responsible for providing quality care services that meet the needs of residents whilst ensuring the care service delivery is undertaken in accordance with the values and policies of PSVCAC.

What You Can Offer Us:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Previous experience working in a similar position
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Standards
- Intermediate IT skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong commitment to person-centered care
- Awareness of WHS requirements, particularly manual handling and infection control
- Previous experience in Aged Care is desirable, but not essential
Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal history check and a functional medical assessment prior to appointment.
