FACILITY MANAGER / DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Due to someone moving out of Aged Care there is now an opportunity for an experienced aged care professional to take over the position of Director of Nursing / Facility Manager at this home which is in the INNER WEST region of Sydney.


Our client is an established, and growing provider of residential aged care services in the Sydney and NSW region.


They are one of those organisations that we only ever hear good things about and people always stay there for long stints.


It is due to the fact that they have a serious commitment to resident care and also happiness, which make their facilities genuinely great places to work.


They keep money going back into the homes to ensure that the staff have all the tools they need to do their job best!


KEY POINTS

• Looking after a mid-sized residential aged care facility.
• RN's are good, but young and need guidance and some development.
• 24/7 RN coverage.
• Role will be focused on the day to day operation of the facility. 
• Being very modern it has all up to date equipment and all other tools you need to do your best.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Newly renovated facility with 75 beds. It has wonderful gardens and areas for the residents to enjoy. There is a mixture of single and companion rooms. 

Expect support from Head Office in both the managing of the facility and also in your own development. 

It is a key role for the organisation and they are prepared to negotiate salary, but you can expect around 130k + super.

It is close to transport in the Inner West of Sydney and is easily accessible by either public transport or by car.

For this role you will need :

• Experience managing a Residential Aged Care facility.
• To have worked with budgets and finances.
• Have a current police check.
• Great communication skills.
• A willingness to pass on your experience and knowledge.
